How To Keep Awake At Work After Lunch.
The most common time to feel tired during the workday is felt directly after lunch… especially if you eat Chinese food. No offense if you own a Chinese restaurant, but no matter how many stay awake at work tips I can give you, it is nearly impossible to recover from a Chinese lunch.
The best defense against the lunch effect and to stay awake at work is to walk it off. If you go for a walk after lunch for 5-10 minutes and get your blood flowing, you’ll have a better chance of feeling ready for action when you get back to the office. Oh and then be sure to grab a cup of coffee.
Eat a High Protein Lunch
Stay away from the carbs, sweets, sugary drinks, and turkey – these will all make you tired. Try eating a light high protein lunch like chicken, cheese, etc. Don’t eat a huge meal because digesting food makes you feel tired. You can compensate for the “light” by eating small snacks like nuts, almonds, pecans, etc throughout the day.
